Zeitoun

Abdulrahman and Kathy Zeitoun are typical middle class Americans, raising children and running a house-painting business in New Orleans. Â As Hurricane Katrina approached, Kathy evacuates with their four young kids while Zeitoun stays to watch over their home and business. Â As the floodwaters rise, he travels the city by canoe, feeding abandoned animals and helping elderly neighbors. Â Days later, police officers armed with M-16s arrest Zeitoun on his own property, adding a new layer to the tragedy his family is enduring.
